Founded in 2018, we have been committed to serving up the creme de le creme of desserts to all of our customers in Los Angeles and its surrounding cities. We believe that the experience of visiting a bakery should include both enjoying your favorite pastries and trying out some new ones too. Chef Mo is committed to creating top quality, imaginative and delicious baked treats and food. We do our best to try and accommodate every client's individual needs. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or something to bring home and share, we have it all.
Free-spirited, fun-loving, driven, and passionate for all things sweet are what best describe Chef Monét Walker. Coming from a large family of self-proclaimed cooks, she developed a fascination with cooking and baking at a very young age.
In fact, during her senior year, she entered and won first place in the Future Chef of America Culinary Scholarship Competition hosted by the California School of Culinary Arts (CSCA)-Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, California. Monét graduated from CSCA in 2006, and currently works as a Private Chef in Los Angeles, CA.

She specializes in alcohol infused cupcakes, custom cakes and cupcakes, but is skilled in baking a variety of pastries and cuisines from all over the world. She has prepared meals for Oprah Winfrey, Ava DuVernay, and Wiz Khalifa to name a few.

Chef Monét received her 2nd degree in Human Services from the University of Phoenix. She will be starting her non-profit providing Baking Therapy to pediatric oncology patients.
She owns CakesAndCurls in Inglewood where she currently accepts online orders for custom desserts and catering.
